Learner Access & Usage Policy
ASCENTSO Learning
Effective Date: 1 January 2026
1. Policy Purpose
This policy outlines the rules governing learner access to and usage of courses, materials, and learning services provided on ASCENTSO Learning.
ASCENTSO Learning is a digital learning platform operated by ASCENTSO SDN. BHD. (Registration No. 202101013455 (1413754-A)), Malaysia.
The purpose of this policy is to maintain a secure, professional, and fair learning environment while protecting the integrity of the platform and its educational content.
This policy should be read together with the Terms of Use and other platform policies.
2. Individual Account Usage
Access to ASCENTSO Learning is granted to individual registered users only.
Each learner account represents one individual learner and must not be shared, transferred, or used by multiple individuals.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities conducted through their accounts.
ASCENTSO Learning reserves the right to suspend, terminate, or restrict accounts where unauthorised account sharing, credential misuse, or suspicious activity is detected.
3. Course Access
Course access is granted upon successful enrolment or purchase, where applicable.
Each course may specify a defined access duration, structured learning flow, and completion requirements.
Where a course includes a fixed access period, learners are responsible for completing the course within the allocated timeframe.
ASCENTSO Learning reserves the right to update course materials, revise assessments, and improve course structure to maintain relevance and educational quality.
4. Access Duration
Certain courses provide limited-time access beginning from the date of enrolment or purchase.
Access duration varies depending on the course design and programme structure.
Once the access period expires, course materials may no longer be accessible. Learning progress records may remain stored for administrative or certification purposes.
Learners are responsible for managing their learning progress within the allocated access period.
5. Acceptable Learning Use
Course materials are provided for personal educational use only.
Learners must not distribute, reproduce, or republish course materials without authorisation.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• sharing course videos or slides
• redistributing course notes
• uploading course materials to external websites
• providing unauthorised training using ASCENTSO course content
• using automated tools to download or extract platform materials
Unauthorised use of course content may result in suspension or termination of platform access.
6. Corporate and Organisational Access
Where organisations enrol employees or participants into ASCENTSO Learning programmes, access remains granted to individual user accounts.
A course licence purchased for one learner may not be shared across multiple individuals within an organisation.
Organisations must not distribute course materials internally, replicate course content for internal training, or provide access to unregistered users.
Separate licences must be obtained for each participating learner unless otherwise agreed through a formal enterprise or organisational agreement.
7. Assessment Integrity
Where courses include quizzes, assignments, or other assessments, learners are expected to complete all work honestly and independently.
Misconduct includes plagiarism, impersonation, falsification of course completion records, or the use of automated tools or unauthorised assistance to bypass assessment requirements.
ASCENTSO Learning reserves the right to invalidate assessment results, revoke certificates, or suspend learner accounts where misconduct or misuse of the assessment process is identified.
8. Certificates and Completion
Certificates may be issued upon successful completion of course requirements.
Completion requirements may include viewing required learning materials, completing assessments, or fulfilling other programme criteria defined for the course.
ASCENTSO Learning reserves the right to withhold, suspend, or revoke certificates where course requirements are not fulfilled, assessment misconduct is identified, or platform policies are violated.
Certificates issued by ASCENTSO Learning recognise course participation and completion only and do not constitute professional licensing, regulatory certification, or formal academic qualification.
9. Platform Integrity and Content Protection
Users must not attempt to interfere with platform operations or security.
Prohibited actions include attempting to bypass access controls, reverse engineer platform systems, scrape platform content, or harvest course materials for external datasets or artificial intelligence training.
Any attempt to compromise platform integrity may result in immediate account suspension or termination.
10. Platform Availability
ASCENTSO Learning aims to maintain reliable platform access.
However, service interruptions may occur due to system maintenance, platform updates, infrastructure upgrades, or third-party service disruptions.
Reasonable efforts will be made to restore services as soon as possible.
11. Suspension or Restriction of Access
ASCENTSO Learning may suspend or restrict platform access where users breach the Terms of Use, violate platform policies, engage in fraudulent activity, or threaten platform security.
Such actions may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect the integrity and security of the platform.
12. Policy Updates
ASCENTSO Learning may update this policy periodically to reflect operational improvements, regulatory changes, or platform developments.
Updated policies will be published on the platform and will take effect upon publication.
Continued use of ASCENTSO Learning constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
