PDPA AWARENESS AT WORK
- Description
When Everyday Data Handling Becomes Organisational Risk
In today’s digital workplace, personal data is handled across emails, forms, systems, and daily communication — often without structured awareness of risk.
Simple actions such as sharing contact details, storing customer information, or forwarding messages can unintentionally expose organisations to data breaches, compliance issues, and reputational damage.
PDPA Awareness at Work is a 2-hour foundation programme designed to build practical understanding of personal data protection in real workplace scenarios. Participants learn to recognise personal data, avoid common mistakes, and apply safe handling practices as part of everyday work responsibilities.
This programme is HRD Corp claimable for eligible employers in Malaysia.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the purpose and key principles of PDPA in workplace context
- Recognise different types of personal data in everyday work situations
- Identify common risks, errors, and unsafe data handling practices
