Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Policy Scope
This policy governs payments, refunds, and cancellations for courses and services offered on ASCENTSO Learning, a digital learning platform operated by ASCENTSO SDN. BHD. (Registration No. 202101013455 (1413754-A)), Malaysia.
By enrolling in or purchasing any course on ASCENTSO Learning, learners agree to this Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Course Fees and Payment
Course fees are displayed on the platform at the point of enrolment.
Payment must be completed successfully before access to paid courses is granted.
ASCENTSO Learning may use third-party payment providers, including online payment gateways and payment processors, to facilitate transactions. Payment processing is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective payment providers.
Course fees may be updated periodically. However, the fee paid at the time of enrolment will apply to that specific purchase.
3. Digital Product Nature of Courses
Courses provided on ASCENTSO Learning are digital learning products.
Upon successful payment and activation of course access, learners are granted access to digital course materials according to the course design and access duration specified.
Because digital learning content becomes accessible immediately upon enrolment, purchases are generally non-refundable, except in the circumstances outlined in this policy.
4. Refund Policy
Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:
• duplicate payment transactions
• verified technical issues preventing course access
• billing errors caused by the platform
Refund requests must be submitted within seven (7) days of the original transaction.
Requests must include relevant transaction details to allow verification.
ASCENTSO Learning reserves the right to review each request and determine eligibility for a refund.
Refunds will not be granted for:
• change of mind
• failure to complete a course
• lack of time to participate
• dissatisfaction with course content after access has been granted
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method where possible.
5. Course Access and Cancellations
Once a learner has successfully enrolled in a course and access has been granted, enrolment cannot be cancelled.
Learners may discontinue participation at any time; however, course fees remain payable and non-refundable once access has been activated.
Where a course includes a defined access duration, the access period begins from the date of enrolment or activation.
6. Corporate and Organisational Enrolments
For organisational or corporate enrolments, payment terms may be governed by separate agreements, invoices, or training arrangements.
Refund and cancellation terms for such arrangements may differ from individual learner purchases and will be communicated separately where applicable.
7. Payment Disputes
If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated through a payment provider or financial institution, ASCENTSO Learning reserves the right to:
• suspend access to the relevant course
• suspend the learner account associated with the disputed transaction
• investigate the transaction and provide supporting documentation to the payment provider
Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in permanent suspension from the platform.
8. Platform or Course Changes
ASCENTSO Learning reserves the right to update, improve, or modify course materials to maintain relevance and educational quality.
Such updates do not constitute grounds for refund unless access to the course becomes unavailable due to a platform error.
9. Policy Updates
ASCENTSO Learning may update this Payment, Refund & Cancellation Policy periodically to reflect operational changes or regulatory requirements.
Updated policies will be published on the platform and will take effect upon publication.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
